Axonometric Drawings and How We Use Them
September 29, 2023
Axonometric drawings are 3-dimensional illustrations of a building or space, often used as a representation tool by designers to showcase a building's mass, general layout perspective or other architectural purposes.
At MAD, we utilize this type of drawing to better understand the programs of space and how they interact with one another. They also give a rough idea of how users circulate throughout a studied area with applicable ceiling heights as well. We believe it is always a practical idea to get a glimpse of a designed building's bird's eye view before construction phase.
