A new cafe project is currently underdeveloped with an intention of exploring transparency and translucency of the building facade. While we prefer some exposure from the sunlight and the street, excessive amount of which could disturb the indoor comfort and privacy. Durable and sustainable, translucent glass blocks and transparent tempered glass, come in clutch in this experiment. Combining the property and appearance of these materials, the architecture finds a sweet spot in terms of visual opacity and clarity.
