គម្រោងរចនាហាងកាហ្វេនិងអូម៉ាកាសិ | Cafe & Omakase Experience: Architecture Inspired by Nature, Crafted Through Fluidity

This fully renovated 1960s villa in Phnom Penh has been transformed into a contemporary café and omakase destination, bringing new life to an existing structure through a refined architectural language. Clean horizontal lines, generous overhangs, and gently curved wood-finish aluminum louvers introduce a subtle Japanese influence, while fluted travertine surfaces, expansive glazing, and lush greenery create a seamless dialogue between architecture and landscape.

The interior welcomes guests with a handcrafted rough stone-textured cement counter, framed by a vibrant indoor garden and a series of timber arches overhead. A palette of natural stone, polished cement, warm wood, soft fabrics, and integrated planting establishes a calm and inviting atmosphere, balancing contemporary elegance with understated warmth.

Flowing organic curves become the defining element of the project, extending across walls, ceilings, furniture, and architectural details. These fluid forms soften the spatial experience and create a sense of movement throughout the building, resulting in a serene environment that encourages guests to slow down, connect with nature, and immerse themselves in the dining experience.
