Chatime Koh Norea: A Seamless Journey from Street to Riverside Terrace
At Koh Norea, Chatime is envisioned as more than a quick grab-and-go stop—it becomes an open, social pause point that connects directly to its riverside surroundings. Spanning a ground floor and roof terrace, the design creates a continuous spatial experience that encourages visitors to slow down, gather, and engage with the atmosphere. Shaped by views, movement, and the natural Mekong breeze, the space shifts effortlessly from a daytime refreshment spot to an evening hangout.
The exterior expresses a clean, modern architectural language, defined by a pitched awning clad in the brand’s signature purple alucobond. A transparent glass façade opens the ground floor outward, blurring indoor and outdoor boundaries, while outdoor seating invites casual stopovers and interaction with the surrounding activity. An exposed stair leads to the terrace above, creating a strong visual connection and drawing visitors upward to explore the elevated space.
Inside, the atmosphere is bright and warm, with wood-framed glass windows softening the interior and framing views outward. A mix of seating types supports both quick stops and more relaxed stays, anchored by a clear counter area and integrated storage. Above, the terrace offers a more laid-back experience—bench seating oriented toward the Mekong River, nearby night market, and surrounding activity. With camping-style seating and shaded umbrellas for daytime comfort, the space transforms at night as it softly glows, becoming a popular spot for sunset views and lingering moments.
