Located in an urban neighborhood of Phnom Penh, a coffee and bakery is proposed to elevate the architectural image of the region with its bold yet freshening appearance. The facade of the building manifests natural and local materials. We differentiate the look of the building by exposing raw concrete slabs, wall bricks, ventilation blocks, timber and complement by nature—trees and grass.

A combination of industrial/brutalist and green design is found in the interior space. The primary element greenery and/or dark green color is applied everywhere inside under the black painted electric tubes and ceilings. There are a variety types of seating ranging from individuals to large group (up to 10 people). Each seating is comfortable and well-ventilated whilst offering unique visual aspects and pleasant lighting for social interactions and personal task performance.
