Intimate House 1.0 is a 2-storey interior project proposed for a private Borey in Phnom Penh. The house footprint is fairly small but adequate to accommodate optimal room functions for a small family. The main intention is to achieve living comfort by promoting a simple design language and integrating nature to the end-users.

Designers are challenged to work with the limiting boundary whilst making the space breathe through design and efficiency of furniture selections. A majority of the project briefs could potentially go along with Scandinavian style and minimalism. The warm and light color introduction helps relieve eye fatigue while green plants could lower stress and create a relaxed ambience. We try to avoid bulky and high profile joineries which are replaced by transparent and space saving ones.
