Located among other F&B outlets, Krob is a new socializing place in town offering coffee and non-coffee beverages with an unobstructed experience being wide open to the surroundings.

The architectural facade is primarily composed of floor-to-ceiling glass panels with an uncluttered design language so as to form a close connection to the natural environment. From the street perspective, the exterior distinctively exhibits a clear shop's logo at one side and immense coffee bean dispensers on the other; not only to indicate a unique image of the brand, but also how passionate they are about their coffee craft. A take away window can also be found, which fairly eases the pick-up process. There are some forms of natural environment being incorporated into the serving experience, namely the storefront vegetations, corner landscaping and adjacent courtyard design. Outdoor sitting is highly encouraged as the design 'closer to nature' concept is consistently introduced.

Unlike most coffee shops, sitting capacity is not our priority. The design focuses on a contemplative sitting experience which means the space should be open, inviting and uncluttered, resulting in a clearer mind and more positive coffee journey. The composition of architectural form, layout planning and details play an important role in achieving this introspective sense of space. Material palettes are thoughtfully limited to a significant amount with a right of balance of each components. The counter station is openly exposed from both indoor and outdoor customers, showcasing the coffee making process and activity as a sign of welcoming and liveliness.

Other design approaches can be seen in lighting design and furniture details. Warm ambient lighting illuminates the entire shop; spot lighting draws attention to the merchandise display, indoor vegetation and the brand's logo. Double stripes and grid line aesthetic are compatibly included in most joineries and millwork.
